The Mark Johnston-trained Persian Moon heads to the Classic Trail at Sandown on Friday.

The Mark Johnston-trained Persian Moon puts his Derby credentials to the test tomorrow in the 10f Classic Trial at Sandown. The son of Makfi takes his chance in the Group 3 contest and will be ridden for the first time by Joe Fanning. There are 6 rivals and he is drawn in stall 5. The ground is currently Good to Firm which will suit and the race is due off at 3pm.
