Sir Busker records his third career success at Kempton
The William Knight-trained Sir Busker won his third race yesterday evening at Kempton under a classic Jamie Spencer ride. Held up in the rear on his first try at 1 mile he settled much better than he has on previous runs. His jockey made his move around the 2 pole and knew exactly where the cut-away was to grab the inside rail. With no headgear on this time the 3yo gelding put his all in with an enthusiastic ride from Jamie to score from some well bred/expensive types by a neck. He raced off a mark of 89 this time and will be in the 90’s going forward. A progressive type with lots of size and scope he will make a lovely horse next season. Big congratulations to his owners, his jockey and the team at William Knight’s.
