Sir Busker ran a fine race in second at York
The William Knight-trained Sir Busker ran another blinder at York yesterday, going down just an agonising neck to the winner. A model of consistency and improvement this season, the four year gelding has now run at all the main meetings and is still on the upgrade. As normal he was ridden by Oisin Murphy and held up towards the rear. His running style dictates a late rattle and boy did he give one here and would have got up in another stride or two. A credit to the team at Rathmoy he now deserves his chance in stakes company where we won’t have to give lumps of weight to his rivals. He is becoming a KVT superstar and we can’t wait to see how far up the ranks he can rise.
