Sir Busker just beaten at Haydock on Saturday
The William Knight-trained Sir Busker ran a fine race in the mud at Haydock on Saturday, beaten into second by a diminishing 3/4’s of a length. Held up by Harry Bentley he was one of the first off the bridle but with his slightly quirky running style stayed on very well and finished with a rattle to just fail to add to his two career wins. A stiff 7f with some ease in the ground will be his likely next target and this was probably a career best running in better company as he moves up the handicap. He picked up £3,850 for his efforts.
