Persian Moon runs today in the Listed Cocked Hat Stakes at Goodwood

The Mark Johnston-trained Persian Moon looks to get his first win of the season under his belt in the Listed Cocked Hat Stakes at Goodwood this afternoon. After two respectable thirds in classic trials he again is in Listed company with several unexposed types. However the step up in trip to 1m3f should help and he has the assistance of Joe Fanning in the saddle. The race is due off at 3.30pm and he is drawn two of the seven runners.
