Persian Moon a good 4th at Royal Ascot

 In News

The Mark Johnston-trained Persian Moon was in the money again – this time at Royal Ascot. He was a good 4th (and first if you take out the Aiden O’Brien runners!) under Franny Norton. In his first handicap and trying a mile and a half for the first time he did not have to do the donkey work off the front this time and was able to get into a good rhythm and stayed the trip well. He battled well showing a great attitude and we hope we can get this admirable son of Makfi a chance to get his head in front sooner rather than later.
