A winning pedigree…

KVT has had considerable success over the years. From 1988 to date we have sent out 188 winners, including winners of several Group 2 and 3 races and have earned over £4.7 Million in prizemoney.

This is some feat from a relatively small team of horses. Our 2022 squad looks highly exciting with the likes of Group 2 winner Sir Busker and Equality leading the team.

Sir Busker (6 wins and £569,979), Tullius (11 wins and £500,137), Gateman (11 wins and £486,525) and Magical Memory (8 wins and £513,930) have been our most successful horses.

Sir Busker was a Royal Ascot winner in the Silver Hunt Cup in 2020 and placed in the Group 1 QEII. In 2021 he was third in the Queen Anne (Group 1). Last year he was 3rd in the Juddmonte International (Group 1), 5th in the Dubai Turf (Group 1) and won the Sky Bet York Stakes (Group 2). He started off his season this year by coming second in the Listed Tanbridge Stakes.

Magical Memory won eight races including the Duke Of York Stakes (Group 2), the Hackwood Stakes (Group 3), the Abernant Stakes (Group 3), and The Stewards’ Cup at Glorious Goodwood and was been placed in Group 1 company, including at Royal Ascot and Deauville.

Firebreak was our biggest seller to Godolphin for 525,000 guineas in 2001. He went on to win two Group 1 races in Dubai and Hong Kong. We also sold Charles The Great to Hong Kong for £280,000 in 2011, who was subsequently a dual Group race winner at Sha-Tin. Flaxen Flare, an 18,000 guineas purchase as a yearling in 2010 was sold as a three-year-old for 105,000 guineas and he was a subsequent winner at the Cheltenham Festival five months later. Bishop’s Leap who was bought for just 13,000 guineas as a yearling and a winner of three of his four starts for KVT was sold privately to Hong Kong in August 2015 for a considerable sum. Spanish Kiss who won three races for KVT, cost just 30,000 guineas and was sold on to race race in Australia for 100,000 guineas.

Our most recent sales have seen the talented multiple winners Persian Moon and Flashcard head overseas having both been sold for many times their purchase price.
