2017 Chesnut filly by Camacho (GB) ex Pashmina (IRE) (Barathea (IRE))
Owner KVT XII
We bought Kashmirella at the Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale and she was in fact the top lot of the part 2 section. She is by the very fast Camacho who had a fantastic year with his fillies in 2018 courtesy of the French 1,000 Guineas winner Teppal and the Queen Mary winner Signora Cabello.
The dam, Pashmina, is a half-sister to the Group 3 winning sprinter Monsieur Joe and this is the family of the Cheveley Park Stakes winner Pass The Peace. She has already produced a useful two-year-old, Arcavallo, and our filly came well recommended from her successful breeder.
This filly made a pleasing debut in mid August at Salisbury as a two-year-old. She has had a good Winter and looks to be a fun prospect for her owners this season. She made her seasonal reappearance in June when 5th in a Lingfield Maiden and is noe eligible for a handicap mark.
Eve Johnson Houghton
Eve started training in 2007 and had a flying start with 22 winners and has continued on an upward curve ever since, consolidating her position as a leading lady trainer.
