Flashcard runs in the Sovereign Stakes (Group 3) and Kashmirella debuts at Salisbury on Thursday

 In News

KVT owners are set for an exciting day on Thursday with two runners at Salisbury.

First up is two-year-old debutante Kashmirella who takes her chance in the Maiden Fillies Stakes over 7 furlongs. This daughter of Camacho will be our first runner for Eve Johnson Houghton and she will face 12 rivals and she will be our first two-year-old runner of the season. Charlie Bishop takes the ride and she is drawn in stall 6. The race is due off at 1.50pm

Also on the card Flashcard steps up in grade to have a crack at the Group 3 Sovereign Stakes over 1 mile. A race won by KVT favourite Tullius in 2012, for the same trainer Andrew Balding, it will be fascinating to see how he fares against his elders for the first time. Rob Hornby is back in the saddle and they face 7 rivals and will break from stall 8. The forecast rain on Wednesday should help and after his fine win at Ascot on King George day we are very excited about this run. The race is due off at 3.50pm

Good luck to both sets of owners.
