Equality a brilliant third in The Dash – The World’s fastest five furlongs.
The Charlie Hills-trained Equality put in a career best to come a good third in the Dash at Epsom on Derby Day. Jack Mitchell took the ride on this gelded son of Equiano and he would have given him some thrill as they went very fast down the hill. It was great to see him back on form and relax into his race and he remains a sprinter with an exciting future.

The William Knight-trained Dual Identity was again an unlucky second at Lingfield last night in a race that was no run to suit. Turned around quickly after another (unlucky) second at Leicester earlier in the week he narrowly failed to pick up the winner (a half brother to Derby hero Desert Crown no less). His form figures this term read 2122 and surely his turn to win will come again soon. He is in a great form this season and a very consistent horse.
