Dual Identity just fails to shed his maiden tag, going down just a neck at Salisbury
The William Knight-trained Dual Identity just failed to get off the mark at Salisbury on Saturday night. He was doing his best work late on under Callum Shepherd in the 1m2f Classified Stakes but could not quite catch the winner, going down an agonising neck. But this was a good step forward and he should be open to further progress when stepped up again and on his favoured conditions with some ease in the ground. Let’s hope he is a winner next time out.
