Carolus Magnus heads to HQ to take his chance in the Alex Scott Maiden

 In News

The Andrew Balding-trained 3yo Carolus Magnus makes his second career start at Newmarket in the opening race of the famous Craven Meeting. The gelded son of Holy Roman Emperor will face 7 rivals in the 7 furlong contest and will break from stall 5. Champion jockey Oisin Murphy, a regular in the KVT silks, takes the ride and the race is due off at 1pm. The ground is currently good and should be perfect as it will be the first race run this year on the Rowley Mile.

The best of luck to his owners.
