Cabinet Maker third again at Kempton and looks to have a bright future.

The Mark Johnston-trained Cabinet Maker ran a great race to finish third in the Future Stayers Maiden at Kempton yesterday. The 7 furlongs was always going to be a bit sharp for this strapping son of Mastercraftsman, but he broke very well and made most the running. He was eventually caught in the final furlong but stuck gamely to the task. Joe Fanning was very happy with him and says he will make a lovely middle distance three-year-old. He will now have a well earned break and we can look forward to his progression next term.
