A brilliant second from Sir Busker in the Celebration Mile (Group 2) at Goodwood.

 In News

Sir Busker has rapidly improved this season and is earning a reputation as a KVT Superstar. Having swiftly risen through the ranks of the mile handicap division he stepped up in class to pattern company for the first time at Goodwood on Saturday. This William Knight-trained son of Sir Prancealot produced yet another career best when coming an honourable second in deep ground on the Sussex Downs. This was in the Group 2 Celebration Mile, no less, and champion jockey Oisin Murphy was delighted with how he improved yet again. He has been a regular feature at all the high profile meetings this summer and his time in handicaps looks over. We will have great fun plotting for the future and huge credit to the team at William’s who have got him in such a good place. Although no one likes coming second a huge pat on the back to his owners and what fun you will all have.
